    5Better than sliced breadOct 18, 2009
I've had it for at least 10 years, and it is as advertised - a great way to move snow. I use to live in a townhouse development, and they would plow snow up against the back of my car. I used this tool to clear huge amounts of snow from the back of my car to another location. One modification I made was I added wheels mid way up the unit, so I could "wheel" the snow away! That is opposed to dragging the unit away with the snow, which would hasten it's demise. I put strips of rubber material on the side with the wheels and faucet washers on the side with the bolts so as to not break the plastic shovel when I tightened the bolts attaching the wheels to the unit. Wheels made it much more functional.

Ruggedly made plastic pan for the shovel. Just what I was looking for. Modified nicely for a front skid pan under my 4X4 pickup. Honestly, I might consider purchasing another for using as it was intended for moving snow. Just the ticket for the snow slide that comes off the roof of my airplane hanger and blocks the door.

This scoop is awesome for the times where there is not enough snow to justify using the snowblower. I used my first one for 5 years until I finally wore it out.

Excellent product that was a replacement purchase for the previous snow scoop that wore out. No relacements were available from Denver area retailers.

    5Great for larger surface areasMar 03, 2009
Love it! This product allows me to shovel across the wide surface area in front of our garage and down the driveway. The drive is gravel, and by tilting slightly, one can grab the snow without digging into the gravel. Once it is full, just tilt the handle down and slide the shovel to where where you want to drop the snow. With this tilt feature, it makes it easy to 'flip' the front edge up on a high curb and dump with minimal effort without having to pick up the entire load as you would with traditional shovels. I am tall - and this is much easier on my back.

I tend to load it up - so it can be a little heavy to dump. But this would be easily fixed by not scooping so much to start with. So I can't find a single complaint.
