We bought this so that we wouldn't have to constantly switch the base station between two cars and it has been an absolute blessing. Now we can just pick our son up in his car seat and strap into whichever vehicle is most convenient and go.

I needed an extra base so we could switch between cars more easily. This one was by far the best deal. I am happy with the product and it arrived very quickly. I would definitely buy this product again as well as buy from this store.

I love my Graco snugride seat with this base but if you only have one base it takes too long to switch between vehicles. We spent the extra $40 and got a second base, one for each vehicle. Initial installation takes time but worth the wait. I have used this system now for 2 children and would highly recommend to anyone. We used this system in a Chevy full size extended cab pickup, Chyrysler Sebring and Chevy Trailblazer.
 Snugride Base Flips Up & DownMay 18, 2009
We just installed the Snugride bases into our cars for our 2nd newborn. Both our cars use the LATCH system, and we are finding that no matter how much we tighten the straps of the LATCH system, the front of the base flips up and down. In my 2008 Subaru Outback, the base was flipping up 60 degrees -- even with the infant restraint seat in place! In my husband's 2004 Escape, the base was flipping up about 20 degrees. I read the 1-star reviews of the Snugride online, and other people had run into the same issue! I spoke with Graco Customer Service, and they said that this was "normal" and provides "some absorption in the event of a crash." Sure -- the back seat of the car might absorb the infant's face when he/she gets flipped into it. This does not inspire confidence. I am off to check out Chicco and Britax. We're through with our Graco Snugride.

a must have for couples with multiple cars.
