A Happy Husband, A Happy WifeOct 27, 2009 My husband is really picky about the fit of his thermal tops, and I try to keep him happy so I don't hear complaints. It is wonderful that he has nothing to say about these thermal tops, if he did, it would be complaints.
The weight and fit is not constrictive,
which is important in thermal underwear for it to insulate well.
And solid construction to hold up well has
me real happy. I want a few for myself as sleep wear.
Not a good buy at allOct 24, 2009 I read the other reviews , and decided to buy 4 thermal tops , i received , then washed 2 times before i wore . i wore the first on an off shore fishing trip , the top itched me , drove me nuts , i had to take all my layers off , i figured maybe wash it a few more times , nope still itching something fierce , maybe my skin is sensitive to this fabric , but i never had such a problem after washing item so many times , i am going for better quality. if you can help it ,spend the money !
Cycling in Cool WeatherSep 22, 2009 The Essential Apparel Basic Thermal Top and Essential Apparel Basic Thermal Bottom are perfect for cycling in fall weather when the temperature gets down into the 60s. I put the tops and bottoms on under my cycling jersey and shorts. The loose weave of the fabric, sixty-five percent cotton, breaths very well. The black color of the pair that I have can also pick up extra warmth from sunshine. When the temperature gets even cooler, down to 60 degrees, I switch to heavier one hundred percent cotton under garments. Certainly, you cannot beat the price of the Essential Apparel.

Not really thermal shirts - very thinAug 06, 2009 The only reason these are called thermal shirts is because they have a 'waffle' like texture that is akin to standard thermal shirts. I bought 2 black ones and they are extremely thin. If you hold them up to the light you can see through them more than a standard fruit of the loom t-shirt.
Stick to the Indera Mills thermals if you are looking for any heat retention qualities other than a standard cotton shirt.
For those in warmer climates who like the thermal look - well this might be exactly what you're looking for!
